Businesses in South Bonson, Pitt Meadows
The residential community running down Bonson Road from the Lougheed Highway toward the Fraser, built out largely through the 2000s and 2010s. It is mostly housing, parks and school catchment rather than storefronts, with its commercial life concentrated a few minutes south in Osprey Village.
South Bonson is the newer south of Pitt Meadows: townhouses, duplexes and single family streets laid out either side of Bonson Road between the Lougheed Highway and the river flats. The City uses the name as an area rather than just a road, in its transportation policies, in the South Harris and South Bonson design guidelines, and in the naming of the South Bonson Community Centre. Katzie First Nation land lies immediately to the south and west, and improving transit to this part of the city is a standing item in the Official Community Plan.
It is a residential neighbourhood first, so the listings here are thin by nature and that is the honest picture rather than a gap in the research. The businesses South Bonson residents actually use are a short walk or a very short drive away in Osprey Village and the Town Centre.
