About Twinberry Farms

Family run berry and vegetable farm on Old Dewdney Trunk Road, growing since 1985. Sells blueberries, strawberries and seasonal vegetables direct from the farm, with U-pick blueberries in season and boxed berries delivered across the Lower Mainland.

Twinberry Farms runs a farm store on Old Dewdney Trunk Road, out in the Pitt Polder area of Pitt Meadows. Pitt Polder is reclaimed floodplain, diked land held back from the Pitt River, and most of it is farmed under the Agricultural Land Reserve rather than built up with houses or shops. A farm store out here is usually attached to the land it draws from, selling produce as it comes off the fields rather than trucking it in from elsewhere.

Seasonal produce means the selection changes through the year, with different crops available in spring, summer and fall depending on what is ready to pick. That kind of store rewards repeat visits, since the shelves this month will not look like the shelves next month. Old Dewdney Trunk Road is a rural route through the polder, so getting to Twinberry Farms is part of the experience, a drive past fields and ditches rather than a stop in a strip mall. For residents of Pitt Meadows who want produce grown locally rather than shipped in, a farm store like this is one of the more direct connections available between the fields the city sits on and what ends up on the table. Pitt Meadows Local lists Twinberry Farms under grocery in the Pitt Polder neighbourhood, at 19478 Old Dewdney Trunk Road, for anyone looking for seasonal produce close to where it is grown.
