About Sushi House Japanese Restaurant

Small Japanese restaurant on the Lougheed Highway strip near Harris Road. Sushi, rolls and cooked Japanese plates for eat in or takeout. Closed Tuesdays.

Sushi House sits on the Lougheed Highway strip in the Town Centre, close to the corner of Harris Road, in the row of storefronts that runs along the highway through the middle of town. It is a small restaurant, sized for a straightforward sushi meal rather than a large dining room, and it covers both eat in and takeout. The menu covers the range you would expect from a neighbourhood Japanese kitchen: nigiri and sashimi, maki rolls with the usual mix of raw and cooked fillings, and a set of cooked plates such as teriyaki, tempura and noodle dishes for anyone who wants a hot meal rather than raw fish. Portions are sized for a solo lunch or a family dinner, and the room works equally well for a quick sit down meal or a takeout order picked up on the way home.

Sushi House sits right on the Lougheed Highway, which makes it an easy stop for anyone already driving through the Town Centre, on a work lunch break or heading home for the evening. Pitt Meadows Local lists it as one of the few dedicated Japanese kitchens in town, which makes it a go to option for sushi without leaving the city. It is closed on Tuesdays, so a visit is worth timing around that if sushi is specifically the plan. Aside from that one closure, it runs as a standard neighbourhood restaurant, open for both eat in and takeout, serving the Lougheed Highway strip it sits on day to day.
